Rebar is added into concrete to provide additional tension support, as by itself concrete is strong in compression but lacks in tension strength.
We stock GRADE 60 Steel Rebar Rods at our yard in Plymouth, WI. Grade 60 Rebar is what is required by the NRCS in agricultural concrete projects such as feed slabs and manure pits, and by the state of Wisconsin for commercial concrete projects such as commercial concrete walls, floors and commercial building approaches.
Grade 40 rebar rod can be shipped as special order upon request
